“great place for family reunion”

Reviewed 7 Aug 2016

The place had a terrific view, high and looking across a valley, at other Smokey Mountain. We had sunshine, rain & fog. We were close enough to basic stores by car, but a ways from the nearest neighbor - we can be noisy! Inside, we had space & entertainment for rainy days & for "nap time" for everyone. Comfortable sleeping quarters for four families. We used cooking supplies, the dishwasher, and the tableware. I appreciated the two-car garage and the automatic garage door.

“Family Reunion”

Reviewed 28 Jul 2016

This was the spot for our family reunion - 6 adults, 6 children (7-18). It was the perfect lodge with lots of room for us all to be comfortable - pool table, games, hot tub, etc. The location was excellent - close to the Park, Asheville, etc. Lots to do in the area which we enjoyed - hiking, tubing, Biltmore, etc. The views of Maggie Valley were super. We were perched high on the hillside overlooking the town.

“Quietness & Solice High A Top!”

Reviewed 30 Oct 2014

What A view! After 35 years of wanting to do this, we, 2 couples, very good friends for so long had wanted to this all these years! We were finally able. We enjoyed peaceful sleep, and quietness in this lovely valley. The only noise was the crackling leaves outside which you would have sworn was some big creature, maybe a Bear? We wanted to see it, so we ventured out to seek it out, and much to our surprise, we found squirrels and birds causing the leaves to crackle very loudly, many beautiful different birds, and birds of color. Woodpeckers kept us company for a whole week with their sounds in the trees. Like roosters get up early on a farm, so do they in the wild. Their noises very soothing! Our cabin with a big kitchen, and all it's regular household sized amenities. The large dining, and living room area were Great for our lounging, and game playing moments. The very nice sleeping rooms were comfortable, and we just had plenty of space! This cabin was actually, really, fully stocked. Even some items we brought with us, knowing we would need as it probably wouldn't be there, was already there! It was 'Clean' and in very good shape with plenty of linens, and beds to make our stay just as great as we hoped it would be! You never really know how it will be until you are there. We were so happy to arrive and enter and see how much fun this was going to be because it was actually very nice. We visited a lot of places in a week, locally and with very short driving distances to Seveirville, Pigeon Forge, Cherokee, and Gatlinburg. I would rather pay money and get a nice place, as we did, than to not have a nice place for the money we paid. We were all very appreciative that the online pictures, and descriptions were actually very accurate and true! We Appreciate You for helping us to pick the 'Right Place For Us' through the good showings on the website, if that is who you are, asking for this review? Also we must Thank the owner, Ms. Lisa, for taking such great care of her cabin for many to enjoy! I hope people appreciate it as much as we did, and take very good care of their cabin rentals for all to enjoy. This experience has put us in a 'Can't wait to do it again' mode. Now we are back to work and the grind, but we have Great memories of a Great, long, fun filled, and enjoyable stay in the Beautiful Smokey Mountains-Quietness & Solice High A Top! Ahhh, and just one more thing, well really two, the 'Sunrises and Sunset's, SPECTACULAR!!! Thank You Once Again!

“Great family rental with room to spare!”

Reviewed 9 Sep 2013

This large log house has everything you need and more! There were ample beds and everyone had their own room. The deck is very large and private and the hot tub was perfect after a day of mountain hiking. We also really enjoyed the game room as several of us like ping pong. Overall we were very happy with the property and would recommend it to others.

“Wonderful home with a view!”

We enjoyed every minute of our recent vacation to Waynesville. The house was comfortable and had everything that we could have needed. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck in the rocking chairs.

“Perfect for two families!”

Reviewed 19 Jun 2012

This house was everything we hoped for - it had a beautiful view, great hot tub, and fun things for the kids like the Wii, pool table, air hockey table, and board games. It was beautifully decorated and the beds and furniture were comfortable. We loved the two masters with private baths upstairs with rooms for the kids downstairs. The only drawback was the very steep road on the way up, but hey, it's a mountain house!

“Time with the family.”

Reviewed 9 May 2012

We loved every minute we was there. A beautiful cabin, very clean, very quite, and awesome view. We even had some snow for two days. The weather wasn't the greatest, But it was quality time spent with my parents, daughter, husband, father in law, grandkids and my son in law. Grand daughter had a great time playing in the game room. Very roomy. Queen size bedroom down stairs, we had our own porch, wow. Great hot tub. Beautiful area, you won't be sorry with this cabin, and owners was very helpful, Thanks Lisa we had a great time, and hope to visit again real soon.

“A White Christmas”

Reviewed 20 Jan 2011

We stayed here during Christmas of 2010, it was perfect. The Cabin was beautiful and plenty of space for all. Just down the road we cut our own tree from a tree farm on Christmas Eve and on Christmas morning it started to snow. Picture Perfect!!! I recommend the cabin to everyone. I will say if you stay when it may snow make sure you have the proper vehicle. We had one all wheel drive that was used to get everyone up and down the mountain. The owners were also very helpful. High recommendations!!!!
