Perfect for couples or families that will appreciate an original Cape Cod gem! 175 year old ¾ original cape cod house with a spacious modern wing shaded by a 200 year old oak tree and situated on 6+ private mostly wooded acres with lovely gardens. The original house has a traditional parlor with fireplace and a pull out couch that can be used as a spare bedroom(sleeping 2), a large dining room also with fireplace, pantry, full bathroom, and three bedrooms (one on the first floor with single bed(sleeping 1), two on second floor - one with queen bed (sleeping 2) and half bath (there are also two childrens beds in a small half room off this bedroom), and one with a king (can be divided into 2 side by side singles) and a single bed) (sleeping 3). The modern wing, all on the first floor, includes a well appointed kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer, a huge family room with fireplace and second dining table, a full bath and a large master bedroom (with queen bed) (sleeping 2) lined with bookshelves and with a separate entrance. Outside a large recently built bunkhouse is perfect for children/teens and can sleep 2-4 comfortably. A large patio covered by a beautiful grape arbor, a large picnic table and lawn furniture under the oak trees offer pleasant spots for informal relaxing and entertaining.
