Wonderful stay. The house was large but at the same time cozy. Plenty of places to spread out and enjoy the outside. Matt was very helpful and attentive! We look forward to renting for a larger group. Thank you Matt for a wonderful trip

“A very special place”

We had a family vacation with a couple friends at this comfortable, spacious, quiet home. It is located in a lovely wooded area with convenient access to the beaches in Wellfleet. We found it very clean and well supplied with fans, laundry, kitchen items, jigsaw puzzles, etc. Our group enjoyed hanging out in the various rooms and relaxing on the patio. The bedrooms were comfortable, although it did get rather hot during the rainstorm. There is a lovely hike just steps from the home through the woods to the marsh, about 1.5 miles. One highlight was the upstairs deck where we were able to view the stars and Milky Way at night. Highly recommended!!

“A Family Gathering”

Reviewed 13 Oct 2015

For the important event of my daughter's wedding in Provincetown, MA, I searched for a large enough house, in the area, for 10 people. This house fit the bill for capacity but there was no way to know, even from the photos, if the house would be accommodating for our varied needs. In proceeding to the negotiations, it was so pleasant dealing with Matt! He responded swiftly and generously to our every need. And the house was perfect! This house offers so many options for larger or smaller gatherings of the group. It is very attractive in both it's setting in a quiet cul-de-sac close to Rte 6, (one hears very little from the busy highway), and it's décor. The house is fully furnished, the kitchen is fully stocked for any kind of cooking, and there is a useful utility room for doing laundry plus all the accoutrements for keeping up with the sand and other cleaning necessities. There is a vast patio with ample seating arrangements both for eating and for just sunbathing. And speaking of bathing; there is a delightful hot & cold shower out there in a sweet little stall. Since it was full moon, one felt like a nature child out there under the stars bathing and peering upwards past overhanging leaves into the silvery lit wide-open sky. Honestly the place couldn't have been better for us all, and the attentive support from Matt was the icing on the cake! We're already talking about a next time! Thanks for such a lovely homelike place at such a good rate too! From some very happy campers

“The "Wellfleet" House”

I stayed here with my two adult daughters and three granddaughters. A girl's only vacation. When the three girls saw the inside of the house they were "squealing" with delight. It's a terrific house and the six of us each had our own bed. No one had to bunk in with anyone else. There is plenty of room to spread out and a nice quiet location. Matt and Ellen were very obliging and quick to respond to any questions we had. Also the house was equipped with all the essentials that anyone would need. We wanted for nothing. Great location to Provincetown shopping and the beautiful beaches of the Cape Cod National Seashore. We hope to return again.

“Wonderful Wellfleet Home”

Reviewed 19 Jul 2015

Have been renting in Wellfleet for over 30 years, different places as family grew, shrunk and grew again (grandkids!). We've stayed at this home right off Route 6 for the past few years, and have enjoyed it more each year. We were surprised this year by the extent of the beautiful, wooded walking paths (town land and marked paths) easily accessible from this home. Ocean, bayside beaches and fresh water ponds are great and nearby. Our favorites are Newcomb Hollow and Gull Pond. Great restaurants and wonderful harbor, too. Looking forward to next year already!

“Large Private Retreat”

We really enjoyed being in the middle of anywhere we wanted to go on Cape Cod. This home was roomy, large, and clean. A lot of sitting areas for a family or group gatherings. Everything was included, especially literature about the area we were staying in. We stayed for 3 nights , and we look forward to staying again in the future.

“Very comfortable”

Reviewed 11 Aug 2014

Nice and clean, pleasantly furnished and with plenty of space for 2 families. Very secluded , no noise from Route 6 at all . Conveniently placed for all the beaches in Wellfleet and just a 5 minute drive from the start of the cycle trail . Would definitly recommend and would love to stay again .
