Description from owner

This contemporary 4 bedroom home with cathedral ceilings, has 3 floors with 2 master bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, and an outdoor shower. It is located on the ocean side of route 6 less than 1.5 mile from the ocean beaches (Beachcomber) and 1.5 mile to the center of Wellfleet. This is our family home and has provided many great memories for our family. Using back roads town, ocean, bay and pond beaches, the Harbor and the artsy town center may be reached without ever driving on Route 6!

The home and main living area are surrounded by pine trees keeping the house cooler in the summer months. The main floor has picture windows all around that let in the morning to afternoon sun. The trees cover the direct sun during mid day keeping it cooler.

The 2nd floor has open design for the living room, dining area and kitchen with a full island that seats 4. The 2nd floor has one master bedroom, queen bed with a private bath and lots of closet space and the 2nd bedroom has a double bed and ample closet. A bathroom with shower stall is off 2nd bedroom. There is a 32 inch LCD TV in the living area with cable TV and Internet.

Top 3rd floor has 2 bedrooms, 1 (Queen Bed) with 2 skylights that face the rising and setting moon and 2nd Bedroom (double Bed) with 1 skylight. Both bedrooms have their own entrance to the large shared bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath tub.

The 1st floor is a walk out ground level with a living room with 50 inch LCD TV. It also has a full bathroom with shower stall, and the washer and dryer.

The deck is accessed via the main stairs and two sliding doors to the kitchen area. The deck is small with patio furniture and the gas grill is located a few yards away to keep smoke from the deck area. The outdoor shower with dressing area is accessible from the deck.

MEN's JOURNAL, May 2014 has a great article listing Wellfleet as one of the

world's 15 Best Beach towns. The Beachcomber Bar and Restaurant, located on the top of Cahoons Hollow Beach is listed in many "Best of" lists and is just down the road from our home.

Beds: 2 Queen Beds, 2 Double Beds, 1 Twin Bed

“Space, light and relaxation”

Reviewed 26 Aug 2014

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home strikes a fine balance between casual relaxation and comfort. 4 adults, 2 college students and a high school student had just the right combination of privacy and communal spaces for playing games, reading, telephone conversations and (most importantly) leisurely meals. We would be delighted to come again!
