“Cute little cottage!”
Overall the cottage was very nice. My sister dealt with the owner/renter and was satisfied with the service. It's in a good location on the Cape so it's an easy drive north to Provincetown or south to Woods Hole. Very nice quiet area although we had a skunk visit us one night! Grill available, picnic table and nice deck to sit outside at. Dishes, cooking utensils, some spices, coffee available. Owner does not provide bed linens or towels.
“Quaint and charming”
Perfect for couple or small family. You can't beat this location; close to many beaches, attractions and ports but far enough for private get away. Our second visit just as good as the first!
We stayed here for a week in September. The place is exactly as described and we had a very good experience here. The owners are very reliable and responsive.
“One of the best stays on the Cape”
This cottage was everything we could have asked for. Perfect size, perfect location and an owner who was a pleasure to deal with. The only thing that didnt work out on our trip was the weather which is no ones fault. Cottage was extremely clean and in a very nice community you could sit outside, take a walk or sit on the swings located across from the cottage. This is a small community however just down the st is rt28 where there is something for everyone from shops to places to eat. As i said we didnt exactly have beach weather but Sea Gull Beach is within walking distance on a nice day.
“Cape Cod Summer Vacation”
We recently rented this summer cottage in West Yarmouth MA. We were there for 4 weeks, and enjoyed our stay. the cottage was small, but comfortable. As indicated, the beach is approx. 3/4 mile from the cottage via the road. You can see the back of the beach across the tidal pond viewable from the yard at the cottage. The cottage came with all the amenities of home, telephone, cable tv, books, and entertainment brochures, plus all household items for cleaning and cooking, including a nice Stainless gas grill. The cottage colony where this is located has some very nice people who became our new friends. We would recommend this cottage to others who might be considering a visit to the Cape. However, be aware that the cottage comfortably slleps 5 but has a very small living room area. With 4 or 5 people you would want to probably eat outside on the picnic table when it comes to messy food such as steamers or lobster. Thank you to the owners of this property for a wonderful vacation. Brian & Donna
The location was great. Located near everything and it was quiet and close to the water. Unfortunately we didn't have perfect weather liked we dreamed of but it didn't stop us from having an amazing vacation. The cottage was clean and was very nice to stay in. We had lots of privacy and everybody was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed that we were able to go out and do lots of things and still not have to drive far back to our place to stay. We would most definetly be staying again next year if the cottage is available to rent!
“Week in the Cape”
The cottage is very well located for day trips anywhere within the cape - we visited Provincetown, Martha's Vineyard, Sandwich etc. all without feeling like the days were spent travelling. It's a 15 minute walk/5 min drive from a very nice local beach (though if you drive there is a parking charge). The owners were extremely helpful, very friendly and took time to send details of day-out ideas/etc. at various points in the build up to our trip. The village the cottage is located in is very quiet and peaceful, but you also aren't more than a 5-10 minute drive from a good selection of nice restaurants and supermarkets. The inside of the cottage has a nice feel to it and the kitchen has plenty of utensils etc and BBQ facilities - which we used a few times! Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the cottage and would recommend it to others.
“We had a great time....we're going back.”
My wife and I had an awesome time at the cottage. We just rented it again for next summer. The gentleman who owns the cottage is a true pleasure to work with. The place is beautiful, close to all the attractions, and well worth the price.
“very nice transaction and stay”
The gentleman in charge of the property was exceptionally nice to deal with, reliable, and of obvious integrity during our various transactions. The cottage was just fine and very reasonably priced.
“Adorable Home, Would definitely stay again!!”
The house was super cute and cozy. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. And we loved that there was shampoo and sunscreen incase you missed it while packing.
