THE POOL: Pool hours this year are 12-7pm and because of Covid-19 and sanitation reasons there are some additional rules:

Pool chairs will not be provided (Please bring your own)

Bathrooms will be closed

Face masks should be worn in the pool area but not in the pool and 6ft social distancing is required in the pool as well as the pool area.

Bring your own sanitizer.

Please have a mask with you for when social distancing cannot be achieved at the lake and playground.

We have central A/C and is usually kept at 80 degrees when no one is there. Please make the adjustment so you will be comfortable and return to 80 degrees when you depart.

In the winter the thermostat for the heat is kept at 55 degrees. Please make the adjustment so that you will be comfortable and return to 55 degrees when you depart.

The Gas Fireplace: Please do not turn off the pilot light. Instructions to operate the gas fireplace: pull down the bottom face plate on the fireplace. You will see 2 knobs. Turn the left knob until the fireplace ignites and turn if off the same way turning the knob the other way. The knob on the right adjusts the flame height. Easy peasy! One small catch however! Do not push the left knob in and turn it or it will extinquish the pilot light which is extreamly hard to light again. Sorry for this inconvenience. We have plans to replace the entire unit.

Jacuzzi: There is a switch on the wall under the light switch that has to be turned on in order to use the jets in the Jacuzzi. Currently the button in the tub for the jets is stuck in the on position. Fill the tub past the jets and then turn the switch on the wall on before getting in.

“Stunning log cabin”

Reviewed 21 Jan 2019

Our family rented this beautiful home over MLK weekend to ski at JFBB. As soon as we arrived we knew we found that diamond in the rough. The home itself is beautifuly built and decorated but we were amazed at the beauty of the property. The three tier rear deck over looking the creek was magical. The home could easily sleep 15-18 people. We only had 6 in our group so we had plenty of room to stretch out and relax. During our stay we were hit with a snow storm delivering 10” of snow. We were presently surprised to wake up with not only the roads in the neighborhood plowed but also our drive way. We enjoyed a “lazy day” after two days of skiing by sitting by the beautiful stone fireplace playing board games and binge watching HGTV. Linda, the owner, was present and very responsive with my questions prior to our arrival. One of my best experiences renting with Airbnb. We are planning our next trip there ASAP.

Owner's reply: Thanks Marissa for the great review. We are so pleased that you enjoyed the cabin and your Holiday stay here in the Pocono Mountains. Come back and see us soon. Linda

“Cute cabin”

Reviewed 5 Jan 2017

We stayed with a group of friends at Linda's cabin over the New Year holiday. The cabin is adorable, and very clean. It is in a good location, close to skiing, a casino, and restaurants. We were extremely pleased with our stay, and Linda was easy to work with. We will definitely be back!

Owner's reply: Thanks Krista, So glad that you had a good time. Looking forward to having you back...

“Beautiful”

Reviewed 23 Feb 2016

My family and I stayed here for a week and I had a wonderful time. between the beautiful creek that ran behind it to the daily visit from deer it was truly beautiful and serene place! We wanted our children to experience snow and the mountains and we could not have picked a better cabin to have that experience in! Made wonderful memories and hope to go back again next year!

Owner's reply: Thanks Julia, come back again soon. It is gorgeous here in the summer time. Hardly ever need a/c. It is a perfect summertime get away as well. Linda

“Beautiful and Peaceful”

Reviewed 23 Feb 2016

Spent a week at this cabin. It truly is a beautiful and serene place! Was not expecting to have the creek run right behind it and a daily visit from families of deer! It truly was wonderful. We took our kids there for the first time to experience the winter and the mountains and I am glad we chose this cabin! Could not have picked a better one, hope to go again next year and make more memories!

Owner's reply: Thanks for the great review Julia, We are so happy that you and your family enjoyed the cabin. Not that I'm partial or anything but it truly is the perfect log cabin in the woods. Come see us again..take care...Linda

“Wonderful weekend”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2015

We decided we wanted a relaxing weekend away and were so lucky to find Linda and her adorable cabin. It was quiet and cozy with an amazing deck that was perfect for watching the deer while drinking morning coffee. Our dog, Ash, loved splashing in the stream behind the house and his walks to the lake around the corner. We had a great time and can't wait to do it again!

Owner's reply: Thanks for the great review Jess. We are so glad that you enjoyed the cabin. We also have many memories on that back deck overlooking the stream sipping our morning coffee. The weight of the world comes off my shoulders when we are there. We recently saw a huge flock of wild Turkeys walk through the property and watching the deer feed is a special pleasure. Take Care and come see us again....Linda

“MLK Family Getaway”

The cabin was so charming and cozy. Much better than a hotel, perfect for our gang. Linda, the owner, was easily accessible and nice, very accommodating. We plan on a return soon!
