“Relaxing stay”

Reviewed 19 Apr 2016

I enjoyed this house for our vacation. It was stocked with all amenities from home. Beds galore to choose from since it was just me and the husband. I liked the tile/stone/marble work in the bathrooms. The wood floors were a nice touch. The full porch and sun room were nice to enjoy as well. If we weren't running about seeing the sights, this was a nice place to relax.

Owner's reply: Thanks Meg, glad you all enjoy staying with us and seeing Williamsburg.

“fantastic week”

Reviewed 31 Aug 2015

We enjoyed our home away from home very much! Eight of us...grandparents, parents and four grandchildren...were able to relax and enjoy our time together as we played on the lawn, in the water and around the table. Table games were a big hit during the heat of the day! The kitchen was well supplied and large enough to accommodate several cooks! Such a fun time!

“Awesome relaxing home”

This house was perfect for our Williamsburg visit. It was very spacious and perfect to sleep twelve people comfortably. The locations was just minutes from Busch Gardens and Wild Water Country. I definitely recommend this home for a large group or family vacation. The hospitality of the owners was awesome making this rental a smooth process.

“Beautiful Home, Conveniently Located”

Reviewed 16 Jan 2015

The house is located close to the freeway, easy for on/off. Being in Williamsburg puts you close to all the historical areas, as well as Busch Gardens. House is on a busy street and across from a school, which made for a lot of traffic. Bedrooms are great. Upstairs was big enough for a bunch of kids or, in our case, my daughter, her husband, and their pups. Downstairs rooms were all roomy, making it great for all the other adults. Ceiling had a repair in progress that had been there when I first looked at the place a couple of months before. The dishwasher isn't attached, so feels like it's going to fall out when you open the door.

“Christmas in Williamsburg”

Reviewed 1 Jan 2015

My family and I stayed a few days through Christmas. House was great, close to everything we wanted to do and see. Had a small plumbing issue while we were there. Called the owners and within a half an hour had the couple the have oversee the house call us, come over and fix the problem. We were very appreciative of that. Owners are super nice to deal with from beginning to end. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again if we are in the area!

“Williamsburg Home Close to EVERYTHING!”

Reviewed 4 Dec 2014

We just stayed at this home over the Thanksgiving weekend. We cooked our Thanksgiving meal and had plenty of room for all to sit around the table. The house is literally close to everything. No matter what you want to do in this area, you are there. We were very pleased with the home and overall experience. In the area - must sees are the Jamestown Settlement, downtown Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. Busch Gardens ChristmasTown was awesome!

“Great-would rent again!”

Great Location , plenty of room and everything we needed -dishes, chairs, blankets, ect. The grass could have been cut so we could have done more in the back yard.

Owner's reply: Hi Sherry, Thank you so much for your feedback. Have a great summer. Best regards, Jan

“Great location!”

Reviewed 24 Aug 2013

This was a great place to stay with the kids. Nice enough to be comfortable. Very clean, but, not so fancy you had to worry about every little thing. The beds were great! Very good quality. House was very convenient to parks and attractions. Would have been absolutely perfect if the yard had a fence.

“Fantastic Clean Large Home”

Reviewed 3 Aug 2013

We stayed for 10 days at the home and our stay was perfect. The house was roomy enough for my family with 8 children to stay very comfortably. It was clean and so very well stocked that we could even put off a walmart run until the next day. laundry soap, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, all there for us. PLENTY of towels, blankets, pillows, etc. There is a DVD on the mail TV, and an extra DVD that can be taken to any of the other rooms. There was no TV in the loft, though. The cable has only a few channels, but we didnt watch it, so it didnt matter to us. Remotes was a bit of a challenge, we reset a few that were "universal" to work, but others we couldnt ever figure which went to which! The WiFi was easy and strong and fast. The bedrooms were all spacious and had plenty of drawer space, and lamps by the bedsides. The upstairs bath was very large! The loft stairway is a spiral staircase which the older girls loved, but may have been a bit trecherous for youngsters. The neighborhood was safe and well kept. My older kids jogged each night, and there is a nice loop just a stones throw away. I followed and watched the first few days, but then was perfectly comfortable letting them jog alone. It is so close to so 199 on the South side and only a few blocks from the downtown. We were in town for a softball tournament, and couldnt have been in a better location. This was a great house for us!

“Wonderful Vacation!”

We take our seven grandchildren somewhere every year. This year we chose Williamsburg and stayed in your home for a week. We had such a good time. Your home is full of charm and the kids had a ball! We were close to everything. Thanks for the memories!

Owner's reply: Dear Connie, Dean and Family, Thank you for your kind review. Graham and I are glad that the home worked out and that everyone had a good time. Sincerely, Jan
