“Stay was great!”

Reviewed 17 Aug 2015

We stayed at 3 resorts this year, patriot, green springs, and Powhatan, a week at a time for 3 weeks and this resort was the best. Front desk accommodated us with upgraded unit closer to the pool and third floor knowing we had 3 toddlers. Unfortunately I gave it a 4star because our place had a nasty smell, milk vomit or bad milk left uncleaned for a week on the carpet. People stayed before us was really nasty, white drips were all over the place and even on the furnitures. The housekeeping sent carpet cleaners next day and took care of it. Saltwater Pool was clean and hot pool was nice. The area was mainly quiet at nights and there were a lot of activities to do. They didn't bother us with sells either. We will stay here again.

“Great place for family vacation”

We rented 2 two bedroom units which were side by side. The combined space very easily accommodated my wife and I, our sons, daughters in law and five grandchildren. The property is nicely located to make the drive to Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Water Country and Jamestown an easy one. There are many amenities on site which make this a very family friendly place. Shopping and restaurants are close within easy driving distance. The kitchen units (we had 2) are fully equipped and amply satisfied our needs. The units were clean and well maintained. The grounds were lovely. All in all this is a great place to stay for a Williamsburg family vacation.

We were pleased with unit. Asked by concierge after checkin about a meeting for the next day to receive different perks but told her we were not interested and never heard from them again. The lighting in the unit was somewhat on the dark side and the lights could have been brighter. The beds were somewhat hard
