Reviews for this vacation home rental in Wilmington, North Carolina
My Daugther's Wedding
November 9, 2013
What a perfect property. It fit our requirements completely: location, #bedrooms, one floor and bright a sunny. Getting to our destinations in downtown Wilmington was easy. On our second night we had family and family to be over for dinner. The house is a great place to entertain. If we have the chance to visit Wilmington again, we would definitely stay here again. Thanks again.
VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH UNIT AND MISLEADING INFO
April 20, 2013
We spent two months at this condo. It was furnished adequately to live there for that time. However several things that were problematic were: the condo unit is on the ground level, however, you cannot get to the building the unit is located in without walking up or down steps; the designated parking spot is about 2/3 of a block from the unit; there is no visitor parking within a block of the building; we had inquired about pets in the unit and had been told there had been pets but the unit had been professionally cleaned-this is what we found-I opened the sofa sleeper and a huge handful for black hair was on the top of the mattress, the mattress pad had black hair in every fold and crease all around the entire mattress, I moved the sofa away from the wall and there was a 2 inch wide/high pile of black hair all along with wall in the living room, I looked behind the bed in the bedroom and there was a similar black pile of hair all along the wall behind the bed and night stand, the closet in the entry was full of debris and black hair. (all which I cleaned up) Virtually every place in the condo had black hair someplace in it, including the freezer. I pulled up the blind on the window in the dining area and it was full of dust and cobwebs. There were two large dark soiled areas on the carpet (all which I cleaned up) The drawers in the bathroom would stick every time they were opened or you tried to close them-my husband fixed both of them. There were dirty bath towels in the clothes basket when we arrived. There were actually other things we repaired and cleaned but I'll stop here. After we returned home and did not receive our $500 deposit after being home 2 weeks, I wrote the owner and she then said she'd return it....which makes me wonder what would have happened if I hadn't written to her.
