“Wonderful house and location!”

Reviewed 29 Aug 2016

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. House itself is extremely comfortable and updated; great deck, screened-in porch, dock is very accessible and in great condition. Bedrooms and baths are updated and also have everything you need. Owners are very responsive and it's obvious they love their property and care for it. Hope to return!!

“Lovely beyond belief!”

This vacation home, where we were greeted by the gracious owner, was even more gorgeous than the photos. We relaxed, dined, swam, fished, went boating and tubing. The loons sang to us every evening, my son caught a 3 pound bass, our grandchildren caught various fish, we saw a watersnake (ugh!), an eagle, grey heron, kestrel, turkey vulture and get this....seagulls.! Our last evening was spent watching the video "What About Bob?", so appropos. On our departure day, a moose calf walked right by the screen porch (wow)...what a way to end this memorable vacation! To the Pregent's....thank you!!!

“wonderful family time”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2015

Our family took a road trip from Michigan to Maine. The owners of the "camp" were at the property upon our arrival. They showed us around, let us know of the concise notes they had for the running of the property. The home had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. Sheets, towels, kitchen appliances and accesories. The property was immaculately maintained. The view of the lake was perfect. We rented a pontoon from a local renter, highly recommend! We spotted bald eagles and an osprey. Picture perfect evenings out on the lake or sitting on the deck or dock. We had a bonfire one night. We did not utilize the paddle boat or the kayaks offered. We were 45 minutes from Portland, which is a perfect vacation town, great eats and shops. Maybe 10 minutes into town for a grocery store, pharmacy, hardware store (for all your fishing needs). A wonderful place with very attentive owners who made themselves available to us if needed. Thank you for the memories:)

“Lovely Lake Retreat !”

Reviewed 25 Jul 2015

We had a wonderful week at this lovely lake house on Lake Cobbossee ! Tastefully renovated and decorated it is easy to see the owners take great pride in this property. The setting is so quiet and relaxing, the lake is so clean with easy access and the bald eagle, woodpeckers, loons and lightning bugs kept us entertained. We enjoyed having the use of the rowboat and kayaks to take leisurely rides along the lake. And even in this tranquil setting, grocery stores, golf, farmstands and great ice cream are within a few miles ! The owners were a pleasure to deal with and we would highly recommend this rental.

This was our third year staying at the beautiful lakehouse. It has everything one could need . The house is modern, clean and well furnished. It is a special treat to hear the loons in the evening. A vacation at this lakehouse is sure to be comfortable and memorable.

“Great Vacation”

Reviewed 8 Aug 2014

This was a great house, wonderful location, and incredible water access. The owner met us the day we arrived and went through the house which is a nice touch. We had such a great week and had everthing we needed. This house is really beautiful inside. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars only because one of the bedrooms was a den without a bed but we made due and everything slept comfortably.

“Updated Lakeside Cabin”

Well equipped cabin with cozy interior and wonderful views of the lake. Loved the lounge chairs and waterfront location. Great vacation for the two of us plus our dog Lucy who loved being in the kayaks with us. Excellent owners whose extra touches were very much appreciated.

“Cozy Cobbessee Camp”

Reviewed 23 Jul 2012

We spent a fantastic week on Lake Cobbessee in Winthrop Maine. The cottage was modern and had all the amenities you would want but was in a setting that let you know you were in Maine. Loons,Ospreys,Bald Eagles even animals such as a mink were spotted and provided thrills. The grounds around the cottage were spacious and the fire pit let us enjoy marshmellows and family stories as the stars filled the night sky. The owners were very courteous and helped me out when my boat engine decided it wanted a vacation too. This rental was well worth the price and comes highly recommended by myself and family members.
