Description from manager

Bishops Gate is part of a historic gatehouse that was once the entrance to the Bishop of Wells' Palace, when he moved to Somerset. The cottage now offers spacious holiday accommodation for up to 6 guests in three double bedrooms. There is a large, private and enclosed garden and plenty of parking.

Bishops Gate oozes history and charm - the Roman arch is even listed in the Domesday Book. The walled garden borders the church next door giving a feeling of space and tranquillity. The cottage offers a relaxed vibe and we suggest it's a perfect base for a country break yet within walking distance of all the amenities this historical town has to offer.
