Nice place with a loft, clean, beautiful, Great price, friendly owners. Relaxing, close to town but far enough away to have the convenience of both.

Disappointed with Customer Service

July 20, 2012

We had planned a reunion where people were flying in from different states and some were locals. When the wild fires closed down Hwy 24 and the city, we had to cancel our trip. The airlines issued us travel vouchers to travel at another time due to the state of Emergency. The owners of this chalet would not return our deposit even though the main roads were closed and the city had been evacuated due to fires. It was told to us that if we did not re-book our stay within 2-3 days our deposit was lost. As a former resident of CO I know this poor customer service is rare. I will be sure to book at another location when returning for our yearly reunion.

Perfect for a family

July 5, 2011

The chalet was very clean, well furnished, and very comfortable for our family of 5. The owners are nice and very accommodating. They had a great selection of movies and games to entertain the kids in the evenings, and a fairly well equipped kitchen that we used to make some of our own meals during our stay. We would certainly stay there again given the chance.

We attempted to rent this place for a night but nobody contacted us back. This to me showed discurtisie to us and a lack of respect to potential renters.

It was a nice cabin. The bed was uncomfortable and my husband slept on the couch and I slept on the love seat. The blanket smelled like body odor. There was long black hair all over the bathroom, and I found a spoon that looked like someone had licked it and put it back in the drawer. I washed everything we ate with. There were still old coffee grounds in the coffee maker. It was hot in the cabin at night which made it difficult to sleep. I don't know if the weather was warmer at this time then usual, but it was warm. I don't mean to sound critical, but it is a beautiful cabin. Just needs to be cleaned better. We left a day early because we were uncomfortable. Nice people owned the cabin. Loved the dogs. Nice setting.
