“Family Get-a-way #2”

Reviewed 4 Nov 2016

this is the 2nd time we've stayed in this home, once in April and again in October. Our whole family loves the home, it's environment and location. We walk in and feel like we're home. it has everything you could think of and plenty of space for all of us. my favorite part is opening the large blinds first thing in the morning, having coffee in hand and enjoying the view. Stop and Shop is only 2 miles away and the house is centrally located to all our favorite shops and restaurants. we will definitely keep coming back.

Owner's reply: Many thanks, Tammi, for a wonderful review; We have something in common: I love closing up the blinds at night so I can open those blinds and greet the morning, coffee in hand! You and your family are always welcome anytime you need to feel the sand in your shoes.

“Perfect for our family of five”

Reviewed 21 Jun 2015

This house was so charming and perfect for our family of five with kids ranging from teen to baby. Anyone with kids can't go wrong. Sandy has strollers, sand toys, a porta crib, baby gate, etc.....the sliders lock for safety and bedrooms/basement easily sealed off with a gate. The master bed is super comfy and spacious, as is the downstairs and second bed. Everything was tidy, and the spices/sugar, and other necessities she provided helped. If your an early riser to wash sheets, she has plenty, but it may delay your departure. That's my only regret and totally my fault for not bringing sheets. The deck is stellar with a phenomenal view, and we grilled several times. Latching gate makes it child safe with supervision. Take the time to walk to the adorable beach on follins fond a few houses away. We let the kids play in the sand, toss pebbles into the water sunset for a low key end of the day. Midcape setting g makes it convenient to everything, and we did it all, clear up to Provincetown. Favorite kids beach was Skaket in Orleans. We let the kids play in the soft surf, catch hermit crabs, build castles, was stunning. My favourite cape beach and maybe beach of all time. I do hope we can make it back next year. Sandy is kind, responsive, and just a great lady I wish I'd met in person. She patiently answered all my questions before and after reservation. This was the best lodging decision I made in many trips with the kids. Tha is Sandy!!!!

Owner's reply: Thank you, Emily! My earlier reply didn't transfer over so I am rewriting it. I so am glad the cottage matched your family's needs, I agree that bringing your own sheets , if even to just throw on the beds the last night to toss in the car the next day while laundering the others is a time saver. Thank you for taking such good care of my cottage.

“A lovely home”

Reviewed 24 Apr 2015

This was a perfect home for our family with everything we needed to make us feel right at home and very comfortable. It has a lovely deck from which you can see the pond. It is in a very pretty area. Definitely plan on staying here again and would recommend it for anyone looking for a very well maintained place to live for a few days.

“love it”

Reviewed 21 Jul 2014

We loved this rental it had everything we needed and then some. The only down fall was also a plus... it is on a elevated street and the parking on the hills seemed to take a bit of a toll on the vehicles. Beautiful home, wonderful owner and there is nothing I can complain about. We are happy with our visit and hope to return.

Owner's reply: Thank you so very much, Erin. My biggest regret is not walking over to meet you on my last day at the Cape. I so enjoyed your emails. You and your family were wonderful guests and are welcome back any time.

“great location - great host”

The house is big, was very clean, and equipped with all you may need. The owner was happy to provide useful tips about things to do in the area. A place we will come back to!

Owner's reply: Thank you so very much, Roee. I am glad your family enjoyed their stay!
