Description from manager
"At the heart of South-West France, surrounded by an enchanting scenery of verdant rolling hills and extensive vineyards, lies this fully restored French chateau now a magnificent holiday residence combining grandeur and an intimate feel".Dating back to the 16th century, many original parts of this castle are still visible nowadays in the grounds, such as the square set tower at the far end of the stone balustrade on the upper terrace and the soft honey stone façade of the main building. The interiors are exquisitely decorated and furnished with a mix of classic and contemporary style. Despite the grand proportions, the ambience is incredibly relaxing. Elegance and functionality are perfectly combined throughout the house which accommodates 8 people in 4 individually appointed bedrooms. Outdoor this property offers glorious terraced grounds: a wide stone staircases lead down to the lower terrace, where cypress trees give an air of classic formality and at the far end, a contemporary style pool benefits from a south facing position, an open invitation to while away a summer’s day. Throughout the summer, there are concerts and exhibitions in the churches and cultural centres, farmers’ markets offering delicious local produce, cycling and horse riding, not forgetting visits to the local vineyards and Armagnac chais!
