You often hear Florida being referred to as “God’s waiting room.”
Well, if God’s waiting room has its own golf course, acres of nature preserves, a lagoon-style pool, seven tennis courts and spa, then we should all be so lucky to spend our gray-haired years there.
For traveling seniors, renting a behemoth Florida vacation rental with multiple rooms isn’t practical (unless of course, the grandkids are coming), but a more sensibly sized townhouse or condo with resort-style amenities could be home base for the trip of a lifetime. Escaping the hum-drum of daily life isn’t reserved for the young. In fact, many couples in their golden years still pursue an active lifestyle.
In gated communities like the one above, all the goodies are right there. A fitness center answers the need for cardio. Three pool tables challenge former sharks. And for the silver foxes who still very much identify with their “cougar” past, there’s a spa to get a new sheen on those fingers and toes.
You never know who you’re going to run into at the pool after all.

Here's hoping she finds you the vacation you deserve.
