This former forge is attached to the owner's home in the heart of the village of Catwick and sleeps four people in two bedrooms.The Thankful Forge is a former forge, attached to the owner's home in the heart of the village of Catwick. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms which are a ground floor super king-size double(zip/link, can be a twin on request) and a first floor twin room. There are also two shower rooms, one on the ground floor and one on the first, and a first floor open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside there is off road parking for 2 cars and a lawned garden with a patio and furniture. The Thankful Forge is a lovely cottage in a fantastic location, guaranteed to offer something for everyone.

Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with icebox, washing machine in ground floor shower room, dishwasher, 3 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Initial fuel, power and fuel for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lawned garden with patio, furniture and BBQ. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 11 mins walk, pub 1 mile. Note: There is a fenced pond at the bottom of the garden, young children should be supervised. Note: Sloping ceilings on first floor.

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: The village of Catwick is a civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire. It is approximately 8 miles from Beverley and 5 miles from Hornsea's town centre. Catwick is one of only a handful of villages in the UK with no war memorial as all who went to fight in the Great War were lucky enough to return home. Catwick is one of only 13 villages known as a 'Double Thankful' village as all who went to fight in the Second World War were also lucky enough to return home. Nearby Beverley is full of history and there are plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from - don't forget to enjoy a day out at Beverley Races! The Deep submarium in Hull, the fascinating city of York, the North York Moors and the East Coast seaside towns of Hornsea, Bridlington and Scarborough are all within an hour’s drive.
