Description from manager

This semi-detached terrace house is situated in the village of Bridgnorth, near Much Wenlock, and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.31 Riverside is a semi-detached end of terrace house in a riverside setting of Bridgnorth, Shropshire. Hosting two bedrooms; a first floor king-size double, and a second floor super king-size (zip/link) with en-suite cloakroom, along with a first floor shower room, this property can sleep up to four people. Inside you will also find a kitchen, and a lounge/diner with a woodburning stove. To the outside is off-road parking in a small car park nearby, and an enclosed courtyard to the rear with hot tub. Resting in a wonderful market town with charming attractions waiting to be discovered, 31 Riverside is a homely retreat in a memorable part of England.

Amenities: Gas central heating with woodburner. Electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, Netflix, WiFi, selection of books, and games. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Stairgate, high chair and travel cot. On road parking available, unloading available on the car park next door. Further pay and display car park near by. Enclosed courtyard to the rear with hot tub. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Please note: Stairs from the lounge to the first floor are a little steep and stairs to the top bedroom are not suitable for less mobile guests.

Region: A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.

Town: Split into two very distinct halves, the market town of Bridgnorth is composed of The High Town and the Low Town, separated by the red sandstone ridge on which the settlement is built. Connected by winding streets and flights of steps, the two halves can also be accessed by the steep funicular railway, allowing travellers to see what Charles I called "the finest view in all my kingdom" On Saturdays a bustling street market provides an excellent excuse to explore the rest of the town and visit the castle ruins.
