This charming, two bedroom property is set in the Dales village of Burnsall and is able to sleep up to four people in tranquil comfort. This traditional detached cottage is located in an idyllic hillside position on the outskirts of Burnsall village. With many original features still in place, such as a stone fireplace, oak beams and mullioned windows, the property is a wonderful example of a traditional Dales home. To the rear, the tranquil, enclosed garden provides an excellent spot for alfresco dining whilst various amenities within the village itself are close by.

Region: From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?

Town: Situated in Wharfedale, the village of Burnsall is set on a bend in the River Wharfe and is perfectly framed by the dramatic backdrop of Burnsall Fell. Full of traditional constructions, the 12th Century church is thought to be the oldest building in the village whilst the school is one of the oldest in the country. Burnsall's most famous feature, however, is probably the stone bridge supported by five arches. With a small shop selling sweets and ice-cream as well as a pub and hotel and a tea-room, the village provides most amenities that visitors will need. Nearby Grassington and Skipton offer a wider selection of shops for anything extra visitors may need. The area is the setting for numerous popular cycling trails and bridleways, making this an excellent holiday destination for walkers and those looking to explore this beautiful region.
