Located within a gated residential estate this contemporary villa offers private and peaceful accommodation within walking distance of the beach with beachside bars and restaurants. Nestled in a walled and gated plot on the island's north east coast, this bright and spacious home is perfect for those in search of a peaceful island break with plenty of things to do nearby. This cool and current property is fully air-conditioned with immaculate, perfectly proportioned dimensions from every aspect. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open the entire home out onto the stunning sand-wash sun terrace with oversize pool, luxury sun beds, a shaded lounge Sala and palm-fringed gardens. The pretty sala is equipped with comfortable dining facilities, making it the perfect place to eat alfresco with partial views out to sea.

Back inside the home the large open-plan living space is simply sensational. This expansive room boasts high white ceilings, smooth terrazzo flooring and designer fixtures and fittings. To the front of the room lies a contemporary lounge space with contrasting walls and furnishings including a black leather sofa, black and white coffee table, white TV unit and large wall-mounted LCD/TV. To the far corner lies a minimalist-style kitchen with shiny white units and high-spec equipment; adjacent to the kitchen is an Asian-inspired dining area with seating for six guests. Large glass doors slide open to allow for poolside dining and seamless garden views whilst infusing the villa with bright natural sunlight.

The master bedroom is located next to the main living room. This generous suite is awash with white, featuring smooth terrazzo floors, an impressive king-size bed, luxury Asian-inspired arts and linens and a white built-in dressing table. The en-suite bathroom features elegant stone tiling and a spacious rain shower and basin. To the front of the bedroom are huge glass doors which open onto the inviting sun terrace.

Two further bedrooms are situated to the side of the villa, both with king-size beds, designer furnishings, traditional artworks and en-suite bathrooms. Glass doors slide away onto the pool deck allowing for gorgeous garden views and easy access to the infinity-edge swimming pool and outdoor amenities. A further guest bathroom is located next to the main living area.

This enchanting home is located within a gated residential community. The stunning sands and clear waters of Choeng Mon beach are just a short walk away; ideal for sunbathing, swimming and an array of water sports and other activities. The lively town of Chaweng town is just a few minutes by car as is Bophut Fisherman's Village with its excellent amenities and quaint island atmosphere.

About the area

Gated residential community consisting of 2 - 5 bedroom sea view and garden view villas. 10 minute walk to beautiful Choeng Mon beach with beach side bars/restaurants and five star hotels Set in a quaint little cove, Choeng Mon lies at the north of Koh Samui's east coast, not far from the hotspot of Chaweng and has the same picturesque beaches and clear blue waters but with less of a tourist buzz. There has been a growth in residential development in recent years, with luxury villas and upmarket resorts amidst the hotels and spas which has created a quieter coastal setting. Choeng Mon focuses on beach activities with lots of water sports on offer, such as snorkelling, scuba diving and kayaking. If you are feeling a bit adventurous, you can wade out to the small island of Koh Fan Noi during low tide, which is just a short distance off the shoreline. The beach itself is much smaller than the other east coast destinations like Chaweng and Lamai but is not short on natural beauty and the tropical island charm. The town itself is quite quiet, there are excellent restaurants, a couple of five star hotels and a few shops but if you want to go shopping it is just a short ride to Chaweng, the islands main tourist centre. Likewise if you are looking for lively nightlife. For a quieter excursion, you can always make a short journey to Big Buddha Beach or Plai Laem to marvel at their wonderful Buddhist Shrines. Choeng Mon is regarded as the quieter alternative to Chaweng and Lamai and tends to attract families and mature travel groups, who want to avoid the noise and congestion of the more popular Koh Samui destinations, however it is still close enough to the action for those looking for something more lively.
