About the area

Riverdaze is just a short drive to many state parks in upstate South Carolina. It is very close to Table Rock state park, Caesars head state park, Dupont state park. There are many wonderful waterfalls and hiking trails which are just a short distance from the cabin. Victoria Valley Vineyards is just one mile away. Aunt Sue's country corner is a wonderful place to get a bite to eat.

Owner Supplied Testimonials

Great vacation home! Met friends from out of state to hike and hang out. The home did not disappoint. Clean, comfortable. We Would stay again. Loved the sound of the waterfall!

We stayed at this rental for four nights and would have been happy to stay longer!
The house is very comfortable and the amenities were top! Rather than spending our days outside hiking, we were house-bound due to record-breaking rain and LOVED the cozy gas fireplace and the hot tub - which has a lovely view of the creek below. The pool table was an nice addition too. We really enjoyed the open floor layout and the dining-room picture window looking out to the creek. We had four adults and 2 young boys and it was a hit for all. The location is very central to local outdoor fun too!
My only feedback is that we could never figure out the remote control situation for the DVD players, but it was just a minor issue. We were so glad to have this place for our unexpectedly rainy vacation!

We stayed three nights in this cabin at the end of August 2015. Cabin is beautiful and most importantly relaxing. It is low maintenance and very open. I liked that it was not cluttered with decorations and breakables. This is the place to get away from life's worries. I loved that my phone did not work there. That really helped me and my family to spend quality time with each other. We spent the days visiting state parks, water falls, and near by cities. We then came back to the cabin to play board games and watch movies. My only regret was that we did not make time to eat at the restaurant 2 min from the cabin (Aunt Sue's)-- love country road side diners. Owner and his family are wonderful people. My little boys enjoyed catching pan fish in the creek. They caught their fill and I enjoyed every moment of their experience. Would go back for sure.
