This charming lodge rests on the outskirts of the Welsh village of Corris and can sleep five guests in two bedrooms.Careiau Esgid is a superb holiday lodge located on the fringes of the Snowdonia National Park, near the traditional, Welsh village of Corris. All on ground floor there are two bedrooms; a king-size double with Jack-and-Jill access to bathroom and an adult bunk room, with a sofa bed in the living room, sleeping up to five people. There is also a Jack-and-Jill bathroom and an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. To the exterior is lockable bike storage, off-road parking for two cars and a patio area with furniture, BBQ and hot tub. Careiau Esgid also gives you access to the shared outdoor swimming pool, hand-built mini golf course, games room and laundry room, for a much-deserved holiday in a wonderful part of the country.

Amenities: Electric heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, slimline dishwasher, Sky TV, PlayStation, DVD player, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Lockable bike storage. Off-road parking for 2 cars. Patio area with furniture, BBQ and hot tub. Sorry, no smoking or pets. Towels and linen included in rent. Shop and pub 3 miles. Note: Shared use of heated outdoor swimming pool (available mid April - 30th September - please keep covered when not supervised by an adult), 18 hole mini golf course, driving net (please check nobody is in the way), 3 x fire pits, boules pitch, rope swings, games room, football goals, swings, and a kids Wendy house. Note: Shared use of laundry room and cloakroom. Note The bike store has mountain bikes, beach windbreaks, crabbing lines, dingy, cricket sets and boules. Note: Please use small logs in the woodburner. Please note that there is a Good Housekeeping Bond of £100 for this property.

It boasts a village pub and is directly opposite the well-known mountain biking Cli-machX run, while the Coed-y-Brenin Mountain Bike Centre is nearby. Discover the mountains of Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy or enjoy a day out on the Tal-y-Llyn Railway.
