Why not begin the holiday with a visit to the Sunday morning market in Cazals (5km) for fresh local produce and something tasty for lunch back at this property?  It is also the nearest town for amenities (minimarket, butcher, baker, restaurant).  The village of Les Arques (3.5km), renowned for the restaurant ‘La Récreation’ and the sculpture museum ‘Zadine’, is a 5 minute drive or a walk of 2.4km along a bridle path through the fields and woods.    

Further exploration of the area will lead to the lovely town of Cahors (27km) on the banks of the River Lot, Puy-l’Evêque (27km) for canoeing on the river, whilst both Rocamadour and Sarlat-la-Canéda can be reached in under an hour.
