The cottage is able to sleep a total of eight people in five bedrooms, making this an excellent base for a group of couples, a party of friends or a large family.Just a four minute walk from the centre of Grassington is this lovely stone-built end-terrace cottage situated above the banks of the River Wharfe. This property has been lovingly decoratedwith wooden flooring and a wood-effect stove, as well as an open fire in the living room. This property, with magnificent views of the river and surrounding dales, is well placed for local amenities and various activities within the area.

Town: With traditional stone cottages and shops, clustered around the cobbled market place, Grassington is one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Offering outstanding shopping facilities for a settlement of its size, this village hosts a monthly farmer's market with a delicious range of organic and home-made local produce. This superb walking area is full of interesting natural features such as the River Wharfe and extensive Grass Woods which lay to the north of the village. Bolton Abbey with the Abbey ruins, the Priory and the famous "Strid Walk" is a short distance away, as is the elegant town of Ilkley, situated in the shadow of Ilkley Moor. The cathedral city of York is within easy driving distance and offers a wide range of attractions such as the Viking museum, the National Railway Museum and the chilling York Dungeon.
