Description from manager
A fabulous Chapel conversion providing luxury two bedroom accommodation in this charming village with stunning long distance views.Ground Floor
The superb, luxury holiday cottage retains the character of the building including the fabulous sweeping arches and mullioned windows - take a look at that view! - you hear the steam train as it pulls into the village in the distance.
On the ground floor, enter this stunning chapel conversion via an impressive arched entrance leading to hallway. There is a stylish, king-size bedroom with a smart en-suite shower room with shower, WC and hand wash basin.
There is also a twin bedroom on this floor with full size 3' single beds and an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and hand wash basin.
A wonderful central staircase leads to the first floor which has three magnificent arched windows with spectacular views. This floor is open plan, light and airy, with stunning views across the valley and comprises a seating area with comfortable seating and TV/DVD.
e dining area is a lovely spot to enjoy meals together including pews for seating which were found and restored from the chapel. A fabulous, well-equipped kitchen with granite work surfaces also has a breakfast bar with stools; the appliances include an electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, combined washing machine/dryer, fridge and separate freezer.
Outside there is a pretty courtyard with seating area - take a moment, sit back and look out over the valley, seeing the steam train as it passes through with its plume of white; whatever time of the year the view is beautiful - meadows, moorlands and woods, green and luscious in the summer and golden in the autumn. An idyllic spot.

The access to the property from the car park is via 9 Steps onto the patio. On entering the property there are 4 steps to the bedroom level and then a staircase of 14 steps to the living area. We would consider this property inappropriate for most people with limited mobility.
Town: The pretty village of Grosmont sits at the junction of the River Esk and Murk Esk in the midst of striking North Yorkshire Moors scenery. The area is characterised by its narrow roads, steep hills and scenic views over valleys of patchwork fields and wide-open expanses of moorland. Grosmont itself lies in the ‘Heartbeat Country’ and is famous for being the home of the North York Moors Steam Railway. The Railway has been preserved and run by enthusiasts since 1973 and today carries upwards of ******* passengers a year. The village has a general store, post office, book shop, art gallery, cafes and a pub. It makes a great base for exploring the many pretty farming villages along the Esk Valley and the wider North York Moors National Park, as well as the North Yorkshire Coastline with characterful harbour towns and villages.
