Sleeping 6 in 3 en-suite bedrooms, there's a ground floor super king size double (or zip link twin) room with walk in en-suite wet room which is perfect for someone with reduced mobility. The fabulous open plan living space has a fully equipped modern oak kitchen and patio doors out to the courtyard garden. There's a further area of lawned garden that extends to the river, just perfect for a picnic, and off-road parking for 3 cars. With historic Carlisle and Hadrian's Wall, the north Lake District and the Scottish borders and Solway coast all within easy reach, Gelt Wood Cottage is the ideal location for a multi-generational family holiday or a friends getaway to this gorgeous part of the world at any time of year.

The market town of Brampton, 1.5 miles to the east, has a number of shops, bars and restaurants and Carlisle, the historic border city, has entertainment for the whole family from cinema to bowling alley along with shopping centre, night clubs and restaurants.
