This semi-detached cottage rests in the Darwin Lake Holiday Village, near Matlock and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.Dovedale is a large, double-fronted, semi-detached cottage in the Darwin Lake Holiday Village, close to Matlock. The property has four bedrooms; a king-size double (zip/link), two doubles with en-suite shower rooms and a twin, sleeping eight guests. The cottage also consist of a family bathroom with shower over bath and an open-plan living/kitchen/dining room with electric fire. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars, an enclosed courtyard with seating, plus a shared lawn, pond and access to the surrounding woodland. Dovedale is a spacious property overlooking the lake in a tranquil location.

Region: The ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Town: Matlock, together with its neighbour, Matlock Bath, has been attracting visitors to the area since the spa was developed in the late 17th century. Set in the beautiful wooded gorge of the River Derwent, the Matlocks offer a range of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a host of attractions including Gulliver’s Kingdom and the Peak District Mining Museum. Magnificent views down the gorge can be enjoyed from the cable car which takes visitors up to the Heights of Abraham – a great place for all the family with its showcaves, nature trail, water gardens and Owl Maze. South of the town is the start of the High Peak Cycle Trail, whilst a short drive away is the National Tramway Museum at Crich. To the north are the market town of Bakewell and Chatsworth House and Park - not to be missed!
