Note: House rules for dogs apply; no dogs on beds or the sofas, bring your own dog bed(s) and bowls etc, dogs can roam freely in the gated patio area but must be on leads in the garden and in the field, all dog poo must be picked up and placed in the dog poo bin. Note: The owner's dog, Bruno, a Pattedale terrier, is quite anxious around other dogs until he gets to know them so please give him a little space

Region: A E Housman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.

Town: The small village of Aston on Clun, located in the south of Shropshire beside the River Clun, has a long history dating back to the Bronze Age and is mentioned in the Domesday Book as Esten. The Watermill, Round Houses, Court House, and Baptist Chapel, as well as a bar, The Kangaroo Inn, and a community shop, are all located in the village. The market village of Craven Arms is close by, as is the mediaeval town of Ludlow and the charming Church Stretton. This is an excellent location from which to explore all of beautiful Shropshire.
