Immediately upon driving down the driveway, we were greeted with 2 goats. Instantly it was breathtaking. The cabin was perfect and beautiful. The owners were more than personable and bent over backwards to make us feel at home. Cannot wait to return- went there to celebrate our 25th anniversary and it was the best gift ever

Owner's reply: It was a pleasure meeting with you both, we are looking forward to seeing you again soon

“Girls Trip!”

Reviewed 12 Aug 2016

We rented this cabin for a girls retreat, we had a wonderful relaxing time, more than enough room for the 6 of us, 6 full size beds, and 2 twin, we really enjoyed ourselves, Jackie was wonderful, upon arrival she greeted us with cookies and asked if there was anything that we needed, we needed some charcoal for the grill and she had it in the back of her vehicle, the animals were very relaxing and the property is amazing, looking across the pond at night with all the sounds and seeing the lighted cross brought great comfort! We will be returning soon!

Owner's reply: Thank you, we look forward to seeing you all again

“Loved this place!”

Reviewed 3 Jun 2016

This place was excellent! My initial thoughts for a cabin is that I would come across a lot of bugs and cobwebs, however, I didn't see a single one! The cabin was very clean and the staff was super helpful when the wood to start our fire was wet. There was plenty of space for our party of 8, plenty of clean towels too. The grounds were beautiful as well and the host even took our picture on the bridge! The wi-fi signal wasn't the greatest, but hey, it's a cabin, unplug and unwind! Would definitely recommend!

Owner's reply: Thank you, we hope to see you all back in the future.

“The Zombro stay at Coyote Cabin”

Reviewed 12 Oct 2015

We just got back from our 18th trip to Coyote Cabin in Sullivan, Il. This is our favorite get-away place! While the cabin is all log, interior and exterior, it has everything to make your stay comfy and very cozy. Full kitchen, living room, bathroom, 2 bedrooms. The only thing you need to take are your clothes and food, everything else is provided, such as towels, blankets, sheets, pillows, coffee pot, etc. It's an amazing place to relax for a night, or as long as you want. The owner, Jackie Cisna, has put this little gem on the map, it's worth the drive! Located just outside of Sullivan, Illinois, the scenery is country, theres is a pond for fishing, places to walk, and just down the road from boat access. If you are looking for a place to wind down, meet with family/friends, spend a special occasion, or if you are looking for a place to tie the know, look no further than Coyote Cabin.

“The lodge was great!”

Reviewed 4 Oct 2015

We stayed for a week while visiting relatives from out of town. I have a large family, and a hotel room just doesn't do us justice, so I went searching for a rental property. I'm sure glad I did! There were plenty of beds, and everything was provided including dishes, pots and pans, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer. There weren't many times that we were left in need of something unless it was to run to the local convenience store to grab something. The kids really enjoyed the animals on the property, which included goats, potbelly pigs and a rabbit. They also had a couple of dogs. The rottweiler was out playing the first morning when we awoke, and the kids went outside to play ball with her. She was a real sweetheart. Jackie was a pleasant host. She came to meet us the first night and waved in passing the rest of the time we were there (they live right next-door to the lodge). Thanks for a great visit! We'll probably do this again soon!

Owner's reply: Thank you, we greatly appreciate the feedback. Looking forward to seeing you in the future.

We were looking for a cabin or at least a secluded area to meet up with some old friends. We found that at coyote cabins. Not only was it a beautiful property but the hospitality that was shown was amazing! We will definitely be going back there for sure!!

Owner's reply: Thank you, it was a pleasure meeting all of your group, and we look forward to seeing you again. Jackie

Very clean. The owners had everything ready when we arrived. Everything they told me about the cabins prior to our stay was 100% accurate. We will be using those cabins again here in the future. Awesome stay.

“Memory of a lifetime”

Reviewed 21 Sep 2014

We won this trip thru Hydro-Gear's "United Way". We automatically thought, "this would be something we could do with my brother and his wife". My brother is battling prostate cancer and has been going thru a lot. So, we wanted to take him just to get away from all that. And it was Wonderful. We fished and just hung out and enjoyed each others company. It was just so peaceful and relaxing, we had no worries or cares. The cabin is beautiful and very cozy. The goats were a sight, kept wanting to eat everything. We had to scold them like our own children lol. We didn't want to leave. We are going to try and do this again. Thank you for this wonderful memory, I will always have.
