This studio-style pod rests in Maerdy near Corwen and can sleep four people in one bedroom.Woodland Pod is a fantastic wooden pod on a private complex, surrounded by countryside in Maerdy near Corwen in North Wales. The pod offers studio-style accommodation for four guests, with a double bed and bunk beds and a seating area, as well as, a shower room and a kitchen/diner. Outside, there is off-road parking available, plus a decking area with seating private hot tub and a firepit, where you can enjoy the views. Woodland Pod is a fantastic North Wales rural escape.

Amenities: Electric heating. Combi microwave/oven, electric hob, fridge/freezer. TV with Freesat and WiFi. Hair dryer. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off-road parking. Decking area with seating, woodburning hot tub, firepit/BBQ with utensils (One bag of logs, kindling and firelighters provided). Extra logs available at £5 per bag. Up to 2 well behaved dogs (please keep off the furniture). Dog wash on site. Access to large surrounding lawn/land. Trolleys available for easy luggage transportation. Shop 6 miles, pub 2.5 miles.

Town: The market town of Corwen is set in the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in North Wales. The town offers plenty of local amenities including traditional butchers, greengrocers and bakeries as well as pubs, cafés, restaurants and a leisure centre. Enjoy a journey on the Llangollen Heritage Steam Railway to appreciate the beautiful views of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in comfort. Take a horse-drawn canal boat from Llangollen and visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Pontcysyllte, Britain’s largest aqueduct. Visit the National Trust properties of Chirk Castle and Erddig, explore the atmospheric ruins of Cistercian Valle Crucis Abbey and Castell Dinas Brân. The historical town of Ruthin and the town of Bala, with its celebrated lake, offering wonderful watersports, are just twenty minutes away by car, while the exhilarating Snowdonia National Park is just fifteen minutes’ drive away.
