With excellent places to eat and drink as well as wonderful shopping facilities, Llanberis is set beneath the spectacular Snowdon Massif, making it a popular destination for walkers and climbers. This lovely little town is the starting point forthe ascent to the summit, which can either be made via a number of interesting and beautiful trails or via the Snowdonia Mountain Railway. Just seven miles away is the lovely town of Caernarfon which boasts a magnificent Castle and town walls, as well as close proximity to the National Trust properties at Penrhyn and Plas Newydd. The rest of Wales is also within easy reach, making this an excellent holiday spot.
