Hi, I'm Dan!

Hello and thanks for dropping by! I grew up in nearby Gainesville, Florida and have been coming to St Augustine since I can ever remember. During high school, my friend's parents bought a unit here in Ocean and Racquet Resort pre construction, and I have been coming here ever since! Back in 2001, I decided it was time to have my own unit and bought #2104.

While I can't come quite as often as I would like, I still make time to visit once or twice a year.

There's something really special about St Augustine. As long as I have been coming here, it seems that I always find out something new about the area. I'm a big fan of the beach and still love to go out and play in the waves! For a family vacation, it simply can't be beat. There are plenty of things for the children and adults to see and do!

Some of my favorite places to eat include Mango Mangos, The Tasting Room (great tapas!), Ned's Kitchen (a real local's find!) Athena Greek Restaurant, and of course The Columbian. For a great view of the Inter-coastal, take a short drive to Vilano and try Caps on the Water.

I keep my convertible garaged so when I get back in town, it is great to take the drive along A1A to Daytona Beach. Even if you don't have a convertible, I highly recommend it! The views are just spectacular.

It would be great to have you as my guest in my home. I always do my best to keep things up to date, clean, and enjoyable so you can worry about which fun activity you will do next, not your home away from home.

Thanks again for dropping by and why not make your plans to visit today?

The couch. I picked this property because of the beautiful blue and white couch that looks so beachy. It needs replacement or re-upholster. It gives a new meaning to the term "shabby chic" tending more towards the shabby. The cocktail table needs to be sanded down and repainted. So do the dining room chairs. It would be a good idea if you had two more chairs since it sleeps six. Other than that the place is awesome. Steps to the beach and the little pool is practically empty. The guards are a pain but they are alert and they keep the place looking nice. I totally understand why they don't want people drinking wine in the Jacuzzi. We actually grew quite fond of Chuck!
