Hi, I'm Helen!

I am a special education teacher/ Lark Harbour is the town in which I began my own schooling. I spend my time now between teaching children and lending a hand at my boyfriend's vegetable farm. I was away for many years and moved home in 2005. I am pretty happy about the decision. Fishing, skiing, hiking, farming and swimming all around me? I am living the dream.

I bought the house not too long after I had finished university and was leaving Newfoundland for work. I wanted a tie to keep me connected with the place. I found an old house for sale on the ocean, a perfect fit for me. The home was 110 years old, and had been empty for 38 years. Needless to say, it has been a long project, but one that has been very rewarding. On top of the tied connection for me, the scenery is magnificent and the town is quite unique and charming. You will love it I promise.
