Hi, we're Dennis and Sharlene!

We like to stay in Maricopa as it is near the conveniences of Phoenix with all the attractions such as the professional sports but away from the hustle and traffic in a safe and friendly neighbourhood. If you love hockey the atmosphere around the coyotes arena is great. Golf is as close as you desire with every level of course that you wish to play. The climate is great with no humidity and the evenings cool nicely. Casinos are nearby. The recreation centre is just blocks away to enjoy with no maintenance with plenty of walking and biking trails. Many scenic areas around to hike if you like and explore old cowboy towns
This contrasts to our winter at home where we enjoy cross country and downhill skiing, snowmobiling and curling.

Maricopa memories

“ Excellent ”
December 19, 2015
The previous reviews describe the surroundings and the house perfectly. The house was central to everything that we wanted to see, and there was lots of attractions within a 30 minute drive. The Organ Stop Pizza place was a fun evening with great pizza. The Grand Canyon was a mornings drive away and so worth the trip, and we spent a day in Sedona on our way back. When we returned to the house it was a restful retreat to regroup for the next day's events. We could keep in touch with our family at home with the wifi provided there. Laundry facilities were convenient so we could pack light and have fresh clothes each day. Golfing, shopping, rodeo, car show, saw wild horses twice, boat ride, gold mine, hockey game and farm road trip tour were all things that we enjoyed during our stay. Didn't know there were so many cacti and kokopelli there.
