This superb beach front property provides the ultimate in luxury living. Ideally situated on a sandy beach and surrounded by lush green gardens the villa enjoys un-interrupted sea views towards the neighbouring island of Koh Phangan. Located on the much sought after North East coast the villa is only a few minutes from shops, restaurants and the popular entertainment areas.

Perfect for all ages, the villa boasts an oversized pool incorporating a children's play pool and jacuzzi, a large sunbathing terrace and decking for entertaining and outdoor dining. To one side of the pool there is an attractive water feature and a traditional Thai sala, ideal for lazing around or the perfect setting for a relaxing massage.

The open-plan layout of the villa enhances the sense of spatial freedom and stretches across two pavilions. One pavilion contains two beautifully furnished double bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with large twin beds. The shared bathroom with inter-connecting doors makes this a perfect arrangement for parents with younger children.

The other pavilion has an extensive living area and a further double bedroom with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom. The stylishly furnished lounge and formal dining areas are light and airy, in contemporary neutrals and fine dark timbers, enhanced by glass doors on two sides that lead you out onto the terrace and opening up the space to the cooling sea breeze. The western style kitchen is fully equipped with every modern convenience.

During certain times of the year the sea recedes over 100 meters, at all times the water is shallow and not suitable for swimming. It's a short drive to one of the best swimming beaches on the island.

About the area

One of six neighbouring beach front villas. The villas have an on-site manager and share domestic and maintenance staff The beach in front of the villa is a peaceful 'non tourist' beach with a fishing boat marina and a beachside boutique hotel (Deva Beach Resort) at the southern end. The water here is shallow and not suitable for swimming. The nearest swimming beach is at Choeng Mon, a 5 minute drive with casual beachside bars, restaurants and watersports. There are at least four bars/restaurants within walking distance of the villa, the nearest being a 2 minute walk. Some offer take out and home delivery services. There are many more restaurants within a 10 minute drive, some of which are exceptional and most are excellent value. The nearest convenience store is a 10 minute walk where you can buy basic foodstuff and toiletries. The local market is a 15 minute walk, here you can buy fresh seafood, fruit and vegetables at local prices. The islands main shopping mall (inside and air conditioned) with a large Tesco Lotus Supermarket together with numerous shops and fast food outlets is a 15 minute drive. Plai Laem has the largest Buddhist temple on the island and the famous 12m high Big Buddha statue is a 15 minute walk, close to the local market. Chaweng, a 15 minute drive is the main tourist resort on the island, it has the islands longest and most popular beach running parallel to the main street which is crammed with shops, bars and restaurants. There is a large retail outlet consisting of shops, cafes and restaurants. This is the main centre for evening entertainment. Bophut 'Fishermans Village' is a 10 minute drive, and altogether different and more sophisticated than Chaweng, it has the islands only walking street (most of the time) with some nice bars, restaurants and shops lining the waters edge. There is also a new retail outlet consisting of shops, cafes and restaurants The islands airport is a 15 minute drive We always recommend car hire to our guests for comfort, safety and convenience but for this villa it's optional owing to the proximity of the local services and taxis, if required are readily available.
