Description from manager

A wonderful, semi-detached wooden holiday barn in Queen Camel, six miles from Yeovil, with three bedrooms accommodating up to six people.Set in the heart of Somerset, six miles from Yeovil on the outskirts of Queen Camel, is this delightful, semi-detached wooden effect holiday barn. It is set solely over the ground floor, with three bedrooms and a family bathroom. The bedrooms include a spacious master room with its own en-suite, a second double room and a third room with twin beds. The open plan living area has a kitchen, a dining table, two three-seater sofas and three sets of Bi-fold doors that let you bring the fresh country air indoors when the sun is shining. Outside is a private patio, off road parking and beautiful views of open fields. An excellent base for exploring Somerset and Dorset.

Amenities: Underfloor heating provided by air source heat pump. Electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Off road parking for 3 cars. Patio garden with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 10 mins walk, pub 12 mins walk. No stag or Hen party's.

Region: Somerset offers 3 areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the Quantock, Mendip and Blackdown Hills. Lose yourself in the glory of nature, take a ride on a steam train, visit a traditional farmers' market or explore your mystical side at Glastonbury.

Town: Named after the nearby River Cam and Queen Margaret of France, the pretty village of Queen Camel is well served by local shops and pubs. It is just six miles from the market town of Yeovil and the historic town of Sherborne, home to the castle built by Sir Walter Raleigh. The surrounding area abounds in historical interest and is probably most well known for nearby Cadbury Castle, an ancient hill fort thought to be the site of King Arthur's Camelot! A great place to relax and explore.
