The view our first day was fog. However, the second day the fog lifted and it was wonderful! The cabin is very nice and well equipped. The only negative we had was the hot tub needs some work. Most of the pressure comes from jets at only one position and wouldn't adjust. Other than that it's a very private, well kept place. We would like to come back in the spring to see it again and hopefully stay longer at the cabin itself to just relax and not do as many touristy type things. The town of Black Mountain is very pleasant as well. Try the Veranda Cafe downtown (lunch only). It's very good. The Town Hardware and General Store, also downtown, is something unusual to see as well. It's fairly close to Asheville and the Biltmore House--another plus.
