I was very pleased with the accomodations. The restaurants are close and very nice. I would definately stay here again.

Our family of five stayed at the Bluewater Star in the fall of 2016. The house is very comfortable and nicely decorated. The view from the house is amazing. My wife loved the kitchen which was well stocked with everything one would need to provide meals. The house is kid friendly with beach toys, games and a reading nook. The beach was clean and we had the beach pretty much to ourselves which was great. Barbara, the owner was truly accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return.
Our family of 10 spent the Memorial Weekend (3 nights) at this wonderfully appointed home which is just a pleasant walk on a private walkway with pergola along the way. The kitchen is very well stocked, a clean refrig and freezer awaited us--all the things that are listed as being there, are! The beds were comfortable. Our four grandchildren are older, so we took some inflatable mattresses for two of them to use (too big for bunk beds) which we placed in the family room and then stored in the master bedroom for the day. The living area was spacious and there was ample seating for eating meals for the 10 of us. I especially liked the view! I would highly recommend this beach rental home.
As always, Barbra has everything we need and such a clean a beautiful home. We walked the beach, looked for shells, watched the waves from indoors. And enjoyed the beautiful, spacious home together, as a family. Or there's enough space to be on your own if you want. The kitchen is so well stocked with cooking items, we always try out a new dish from the fresh fish found in Freeport, just a few minutes away. We usually have no want to go anywhere else. We have everything we need and it is so much more relaxing than busier places like Galveston. We will continue coming back year after year! Thank you Barbra!!
This was the most wonderful home to spend our Thanksgiving week! This beach house was well set up for our family of 9 and had such beautiful views of the beach and ocean. I cannot stress how comfortable we felt in the home and how well stocked the kitchen was. Barbara (owner) was so friendly and easy to work with. She made sure that we had everything we needed and was very accommodating throughout the process and never hesitated to answer any of our questions. Thank you so much, Barbara, for being so warm, friendly and taking care of us! We look forward to staying in your inviting home as soon as we can!
WE had a wonderful anniversary staying at the house in Galveston. It's right on the beach as promised. We'd stay there again.
