Cape Cod, Massachusetts has long been one of the most popular vacation destinations in the United States, and it’s easy to see why. The rolling dunes, swaying dune grass and miles of soft sand beaches set the perfect environment for a summer family vacation.

Some of the best beaches include: Nauset Beach in Eastham, Chapin Beach in Dennis, Race Point Beach in Provincetown and Scusset Beach in Sandwich. Scusset is a great beach for children because there is plenty of parking, restrooms and a snack bar.

Hopefully you’re lucky enough to spend some time on the water while visiting the Cape. There’s some fantastic whale watching off the Cape Cod shores, and if you’re interested in fishing the Cape waters can be very fruitful – especially when the stripers and blues are running!

Orleans Historical Society

Most of our many services are available to book online, some are only available to reserve by phone and a limited few do not require a reservation as it is not necessary.
