Santa Fe Travel Resources

Santa Fe, located in the North Central region of New Mexico has long been a popular travel destination. The weather in Santa Fe is extremely comfortable all year; in the winter, the high temperatures are usually in the 40s with sunny skies, and the summer is characterized by a sun-drenched , dry heat, and occasional cooling afternoon monsoonal quick storm.

The city is located in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and the mountain range is the venue for many outdoor activities; including, but not limited to, hiking, mountain biking, camping, zip-lining and even some skiing.
Santa Fe prides itself on being unique. In fact, the city is often billed as, “City Different”. There is some truly unique and spectacular architecture in Santa Fe.

Some of the must-see architecture includes St. Francis Cathedral, San Miguel Mission, Scottish Rite Temple and even the State Capitol Building. After a quick stroll through downtown Santa Fe, it will be no surprise to learn that a very high number of the city’s buildings are on the National Register of Historic Places.  Like museums? Santa Fe has you covered! There are some incredible museums here like the New Mexico History Museum, the New Mexico Museum of Art, the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture, and the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum.

As with many Spanish inspired cities, Santa Fe is built around a large city square. And with such, the city makes an effort to gather for frequent festivals and harvest that strong sense of community. Santa Fe is a special place.
