This detached cottage situated in the village of Rookhope near Stanhope sleeps ten people in five bedrooms.Prospect House is a double-fronted, detached cottage situated in the charming former mining village of Rookhope, six miles from Stanhope in County Durham. This cottage sleeps ten people in five bedrooms, consisting of two doubles with en-suite, another double and two twins, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area, a sitting room and a snug. Outside there is off road parking in a garage for two cars, as well as additional roadside parking at the front of the property. There is also a lawned garden with a patio and furniture. Prospect House is a great base with plenty of walking and cycling routes in the area.

Lockable bike storage. Lawned garden with patio. Three well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk.

Close by is the market town of Stanhope, and within driving distance is Hexham, Hadrian’s Wall, Hamsterley Forest, Killhope Lead Mining Museum, Barnard Castle and the city of Durham.
