Situated in one of the best locations in Sandsend overlooking the beach and with stunning long distance views of Whitby, a fabulous period style cottage with excellent fittings and furnishings.Ground Floor

The front door opens to a lovely sitting room with wood burning stove - perfect for chilly autumn and winter evenings - a flat screen TV and comfortable seating. The bay window provides an ideal dining area, with dining table and chairs, to enjoy meals with the sea views beyond. The kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances including oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine/dryer.

First Floor

On the first floor are two bedrooms - a double bedroom to the front overlooking the beach, and a pretty twin bedroom to the rear of the house. A smart, recently refurbished shower room offers a shower, WC and hand wash basin.

Outside

To the front of the cottage is a pretty, enclosed lawned garden with a table and bench set, perfect for al fresco dining or sipping a glass of wine at the end of the day.

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: The seaside town and port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk in the Scarborough district of North Yorkshire. Ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire, the local area hosts an abundance of activity so you can be sure to get the best out of both the countryside and the coast. From the nearby North York Moors to its Blue Flag beaches, there's something here for every interest and time of year. Amongst its many attractions, Whitby holds a charming atmosphere, home to winding streets and hidden alleys, where you can find a wide selection of eateries and shops scattered amongst them. Take a trip to the picturesque harbour and lighthouse to watch the sun set, or get involved in some whale watching or a coastal cruise to watch the creatures up close. Climb the famous 199 to the Whitby Abbey to immerse yourself with history, or visit the Captain Cook Memorial Museum presenting historical and ethnographic exhibition about Cook himself. Hosting an abundance of leisure facilities, opportunities to explore the natural lands, and plenty of coastal delights, Whitby offers something for everyone.
