This quaint black and white thatched cottage sits in the village of Shottery near Stratford-upon-Avon, sleeping two people in one bedroom.Bluebell Cottage is a charming thatched cottage set in the village of Shottery, just one mile from Stratford-upon-Avon. With one double bedroom, this cottage can sleep two people. The cottage also includes a bathroom, a kitchen, a sitting room with a dining area and log-effect electric fire. Outside is off road parking for one car and a front patio. Bluebell Cottage offers couples a cosy hideaway retreat in a wonderful part of the country.

Amenities: Electric panel heaters with electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Front enclosed patio. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 10 mins walk. Note: No infants. Note: Due to the age of the building, the floors are uneven and some guests may find the stairs difficult to negotiate, however there is a handrail.

Region: Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.

Town: The historic village of Shottery occupies a peaceful setting in the rolling Warwickshire countryside, just over a mile from the fine market town of Stratford-upon-Avon. Renowned as the birthplace of Anne Hathaway, this pretty location boasts many black and white thatched cottages and a welcoming inn serving real ales and delicious food. Shakespeare's Stratford is within easy reach, with its famous theatre, striking architecture, characterful shops and pubs and lovely, riverside walks, whilst the medieval castles at nearby Kenilworth and Warwick are not to be missed. Visit the splendid National Trust house at Charlecote Park with its graceful gardens, intriguing maze and Capability Brown Deer Park. Alternatively, place a bet at Warwick Racecourse, or simply explore the many surrounding Cotswold towns and hamlets this stunning area has to offer.
