Well-equipped and decorated to a high standard, this property is spacious and comfortable, and offers a seamless mixture of period charm and modern convenience. There is also a large well-equipped, fitted kitchen with dining area. Well served by the amenities in Pickering, York and Scarborough, this lovely property is well placed from anyone looking to explore this lovely region of the country.

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: Just two miles to the east of Pickering, the beautiful village of Thornton-le-Dale lies within The North York Moors National Park. This charming little village has a complicated shape and is comprised of a fascinating labyrinth of streams and paths which run between the pretty houses and around the village green, which still has its wooden stocks and a market cross. Hidden amongst the beautiful houses is a selection of shops, pubs and tearooms whilst the nearby market town of Pickering offers a further range of essential services as well as the North York Moors Steam Railway. The Forestry Commission woodland at Dalby is worth a visit and has several excellent nature trails to be enjoyed whilst slightly further away is the historic cathedral city of York with its huge range of shops, cinemas and museums.
