A traditional stone-built cottage near Thornton-le-Dale in Yorkshire that can sleep eight people in four bedrooms.Willow Farmhouse is a stone-built semi-detached cottage near Thornton-le-Dale in Yorkshire. It has four bedrooms comprising of one double and three twins as well as a bathroom and separate shower room; it total it can sleep eight people. The cottage also has a kitchen, a dining room with electric fire, a sitting room with woodburning stove and a snug. To the front of the cottage is ample off road parking and to the rear is a lawned area with a patio and furniture. A fantastic cottage in a beautiful part of Yorkshire.

Amenities: Oil central heating with electric fire and woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburning stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Garden with patio and furniture. shared children's play area. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub in Thornton-le-dale 2.5 miles. Note: Check-in 4pm.

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: The beautiful village of Thornton-le-Dale lies two miles to the east of Pickering within The North York Moors National Park. Much of its charm comes from its complicated shape - a fascinating jumble of streams and paths and houses with an attractive village green which still has its wooden stocks and a market cross. The village offers a selection of shops, pubs and tea rooms. The nearby market town of Pickering offers a range of amenities and the North York Moors Steam Railway. There are broad fields above and below the village and views to the south across the Vale of Pickering, whilst to the north is the Forestry Commission's Dalby Forest, with several excellent nature trails to be enjoyed. Further afield, but within driving distance, are the east coast and York.
