Waterfront Cape Cod Home on John's Pond

This is my 7th visit to the Cape and by far the nicest places we have stayed, absolutely perfect in every way. The house is large, spacious and homely, situated on the edge of St Johns Cove which lends itself to the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets. We visited in the Fall so the trees were gorgeous although naturally we weren't brave enough to venture to the beach for swimming!! The house is very well equipped and there was really nothing that we wanted for. Highly recommend and we very much hope to return in the not too distant future.

We stayed the week going into Labor day and it was perfect. On days when you want to hang out the beach is right across the street. For the teens or tweens you are 2 miles from shopping at Mashpee on the commons. We took advantage of the location to explore Woods Hole and its many Marine biology exhibits/facilities but it is also a great jumping off point for the ferries to MV or Nantucket. The house has a great open layout for family members to do their own thing but be within earshot and the best feature was the farmer's porch overlooking John's pond which was a great place to hangout at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend and return.

Stayed the week with a family of five. Plenty of space. Quiet neighborhood with a private beach 400 ft away. Great views. Plan on going back!

We were so pleasantly surprised to find that this home was even better than the pictures portrayed. Our stay here was wonderful. I would recommend this home to anyone! All the comforts of home and close to beaches, shopping etc. The beach right next door was so convenient, right on the lake, that we did not even have to go to the ocean. I could not say enough good things about this property!!! The owner was easily accessible and very easy to communicate with. I would give it 10 stars if I could but it only goes up to five! Thank you.

Conveniently located to many golf courses, shopping, restaurants and beaches. Comfortable open layout with large kitchen/family room overlooking the lake. Beautiful sunsets can be viewed from the large porch. I've stayed here several times and have enjoyed this location every time. Will definitely return.

This home was everything we hoped for to celebrate 50 years of marriage!.It had generous rooms...wonderful water views from every room, a private beach right at the front door, and a perfect location on the Cape. Restaurants, gift shops, grocery stores were all within a short distance.House was equipped to meet all our needs ,Owner was readily accessible making our stay very pleasurable. We rate it A+!

MY family and I had the most wonderful week at this home on John's Pond. The house is spacious with a large deck over looking the pond, has a full large ktichen, downstairs playroom with large sofa, several bathrooms, outdoor grill and laundry. We've spent 2 years in a row there and could not be happier. The pond, with private community beach, is right outside the house, and perfect for our 4 year old son and nephew. The water is calm and the beach has plenty of room to play, lounge on beach chairs and also has a few trees to get some shade. Its a 5 minute drive to Mashpee Commons, for shopping, dining, coffee, afternoon and evening walks, etc. We love the house and plan on going back next year

This proved to be an excellent and peaceful location - there were only 2 of us and we found the accommodation to be excellent quality, clean and spacious. The location of the property overlooks the lake known as Johns Pond and offers a peaceful and relaxing location. There is a private beach opposite the property which tenants can use, although we didn't take advantage of this ourselves. We would happily stay at the property again and can recommend it to couples such as ourselves or to families with small children. The owner is easily contacted and any communications are replied to very promptly

we had a wonderful week here. Our daughter loved the private beach and pond for swimming every day. The views and sunset from the porch were a delight.

Beautiful home, right across from the water. Had a private wedding ceremony on the beach...our guests could not stop complimenting us on the house and water! Neighborhood was quiet and friendly also. We would recommend this home to anyone!
