“Christmas Holiday 2016”
So thankful for our stay on Down on the farm. Just what we needed a quite get away ,with a day or two of Nashville.My husband as a high stress job and needed to get somewhere quite and relaxing.The owner was super nice when checking us in .We got to see our first blue jay bird and also red cardinal. Walked the trails on the farm came upon some wild turkeys . Though we were hopping for some cooler weather ( 70* Christmas Day ) apparently a record for that area for 100 years. We are thankful for the time spent on the farm , house decorating was done with a farm house style ( which I like ) .If in need of a quite get away Down on the farm is for u.

This was the perfect meeting place for a family retreat--warm, cozy, & clean house; beautiful, peaceful & convenient country setting; and friendly hosts!! We will definitely come again!!!
“Everything as advertised, enjoyable place to stay.”
Beth and Billy were hospitable, the house was spacious and clean. It had everything two families of young children needed for a few nights trip South. Excellent property to spend time watching sunsets on. We look forward to returning in future years.
“Stay down on the Farm”
Very Nice quiet location with easy access to nearby antique shops and restaurants. Accommodations were superior in every way, clean and well kept.
“Pleasant get away”
We enjoyed our first visit to Nashville and staying in the red farm house made it the best. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We were so thankful that we could leave Louie (our dog) in his cage within the house during the day and not have him be traumatized by the sounds of a hotel. If we are ever back up that way, we will not hesitate to check into renting the farm house again.

“The best vacation ever”
our family was looking for a place where we would rest and enjoy each other's company with out the busyness of the city. We stayed at the candle light cabin, it was perfect, super clean, peaceful, we enjoy long walk, sitting out at night camp fires, the peace that we felt there is a blessing we will always treasure and never forget. Thank you Billy and Mary Beth for all that you do to bless others. It was hard to leave Your property, it was the perfect vacation. We definitely will go back. Thank you. “Stunning and Relaxing stay beats a hotel anytime!”
Myself, friend, and dog competition coach stayed at The Dove Cottage. we were in TN for a dog competition in Gallatin and when traveling with the working dogs, we are always trying to find stress free places to stay for long weekends. Billy and Beth were more than accommodating and welcomed us to there property. The dogs absolutely LOVED getting out on the walking trails in the morning and evenings as a de-stress after a long day of trialing. (Our dogs were kept in crates in the car or insulated dog trailers). They even allowed to to practice tracking on their large open grass fields. I travel to TN for dog competitions a few times a year and never will I visit again without staying at Beth & Billy's! It was SO peaceful and relaxing- perfect atmosphere to be in. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. The house was clean and orderly, the landscape grounds were well maintained. Thank you, and I will be back! (

“Dove Cottage”
Our stay was perfect; it all started with the owners of the property. Very polite, respectful and helpful. The cottage was clean, well maintained and suited for all of our needs. We enjoyed the scenery and tranquility of the property. It was peaceful and worth the stay over any hotel you could ever stay at. Highly recommend this location and would definitely book the Dove Cottage again.
“Excellent, awesome beyond any expectations”
This was a wonderful home. The host Billy and Beth were so nice , helpful and kind. The beds were comfortable and the area is beautiful. We would not hesitate to return here and hope we can in the future. We so enjoyed staying here and especially the host very nice good people.
“The Place To Stay”
We really enjoyed our stay at the farm. It was more than we could have asked for. The location is perfectly relaxing, while only being minutes away from Nashville. The house is beautiful and spacious, and there is plenty of room to enjoy outside. We will not stay anywhere else when visiting that area of Tennessee!

We stayed at the Little Red Farm last August (2009). I have thought about our vacation many many times since, but never added a comment. When researching for vacation this year, I was reminded of the "Farm" and what an incredibly fun time we had. I decided it was about time I let others know of a "jewel of the south". It was our first family vacation in decades. We all had a fabulous time cooking in the great country kitchen, walking the paths, cat-fishing, roasting marshmallows around the campfire pit(never laughed so hard in my life). We were in a peaceful quiet area but still close to all the excitement of Nashville. And Billy and Beth were absolutely marvelous hosts. So kind and considerate and helpful with things to do and places to see. We hope to go back to the "Farm" again.
Stay Down on the Farm was truly a home away from home. The fully equipped kitchen cut down on our dining out costs. We enjoyed peaceful country solitude yet we were at the Grand Ole Opry in 30 minutes in Nashville. Each time we sat on the porch we were joined by hummingbirds that seemed as curious about us as we were about them. By far the best place we have ever stayed away from home.

This was by far the best place we have stayed. The house is so charmingly decorated and the grounds are so peaceful. Billy and Beth are very gracious hosts. They made us feel welcome. All the amenities are provided. My husband and I will DEFINITELY return only next time we're taking the kids so they can experience the beauty of this place!

I'll echo the other reviews. Great place to get away and still be able to see the Nashville sites without all the craziness of staying in Nashville. Perfect for families or just a quiet couples' getaway. Great hosts.

An awesome stay. Very welcoming hosts ..even picked fresh strawberries for us. Immaculate and comfortable home. Away from all noise. A real retreat from the world. Close to shopping and Nashville.I will be going back.
