Captain Rogers Place...walk to the beach

Great little vacation spot. Totally designed for comfort and relaxation. Lots of room, lots of sunny spots, lots of places to lounge around. Huge kitchen and dining room stocked with all you will need. 5 minute walk to the beach which was clean and great. Rental is in a very quiet residential area. No issues whatsoever. Elaine was great to work with and made everything super easy. Definitely will return! Thanks for everything, Elaine.

We were looking forward to staying here but due to some circumstances we had to cancel. The owner was 100% cooperative and refunded our $. We saved this location as a favorite and look forward to booking a stay soon!

The house was absolutely lovely with its decor and closeness to the beach. We went during the middle of the week, and the beach was very uncrowded unlike the Seawall beaches. We had plenty of time to go swimming and there are toys and boogie boards to take with you. Bring a wagon to take small children with you along with your stuff to the beach; that's what we did and it was great. It was very quiet and relaxing there. There were 5 adults and 1 child and we had plenty of room to stretch out and relax. We used the kitchen to cook dinners and breakfasts and there were plenty of utensils and dishes for all 6 of us. There are also lots of beach chairs for sitting out on the decks. Most helpful I think was the outdoor shower down beside the carport with both hot and cold water and also a water hose for rinsing your shoes and cars off. We had a wonderful time, and we would love to go there again!

Captain Roger's Place is a quiet low key home close to the beach. It's literally like a five-ten minute walk to the beach. It's a peaceful place! Small, but very quaint! I Love it so very much! And will definitely visit again!

Elaine was very kind to make arrangements for my son & I to stay here after my husband's sudden & untimely passing. However, it was unfortunate that our plans changed & have not gotten away to stay there yet...but hope to! At which time, look forward to giving the experience a 5 *! Thank you Elaine

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Captain Rogers Place. It is loaded with French Country eclectic charm that made us feel so welcome. The kitchen has everything you need and there is plenty of room for dining, lounging, and sleeping. The huge wrap around porch with the view and sound of the ocean is where we spent most of our time while not at the beach. We couldn't have asked for more! The home is very charming with many comfortable beds. The owner was very accomidating and friendly. The beach is very private accessable only through the very family friendly neighborhood. The beach does inot allow moter vehicles but is only steps away from the house. The beach is also well maintained and cleaned of seaweed and debrea often. We are looking forward to our next visit!

We stayed at the Captain Rodger's beach house this past week. It was very clean and had all the comforts of home we could have asked for. Elaine was a pleasure to speak with. We will definitely go back again!

This was a great rental close to the beach. Great for our 3 kids to not feel couped up in a hotel all day and we had 7 people in the house at one point and it didn't feel like we were tripping over each other.
