Villa Flora is a historic villa built in the years between 1912 and 1914. Recently restructured and finely furnished, Villa Flora boasts an exceptional scenic location. Nestled in a serene residential enclave on the picturesque hillside of Stresa at 800 meters above the sea level, the villa offers breathtaking views of the lake and the mountains beyond.
The villa sits in a sunny lake view garden. The private garden of about 5500 sqm is full of colored flowers. An outdoor area equipped with table, chairs and a barbecue invites for al fresco meals. Villa Flora is laid out on three levels. The interior is spacious and welcoming. The villa sleeps up to 10 guests; smaller groups of 4 or 8 people have the option to rent just a portion of the villa. It is the perfect place for a family or a group vacation.
Villa Flora is located just 10 km uphill Stresa. The famous lakeside resort town offers easy access to a wide range of attractions, including the beautiful islands of Isola Madre, Isola Bella, Isola dei Pescatori. The next village is Gignese (3 km) where grocery shops, a chemistry, a post office and a kiosk can be found.
Guests have the option to reach Stresa by the Stresa-Mottarone Cable Car (Alpino Cable Car Station is just 300 meters far from Villa Flora). Mount Mottarone is considered a "natural balcony" from which there are 360° panoramic views across the Po Valley to the Alps. From the summit which is a 15 minute walk from the cable car station you can see seven lakes: Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta, Lake Mergozzo, Lake Varese, Lake Comabbio, Lake Monate and Lake Biandronno. Here at its peak, visiters can live an exciting experience above the lake: the Alpyland, a bobsled roller coaster on the top of Mottarone.
